The
Sheriff’s Office Administration consists of
Chief Clerk Melissa Rice, Deputy Clerk and Offender Compliance
Specialist Nina Haney, Civil Process Clerk Melissa Wilkerson,
and Warrants/Investigations Clerk Andrea Taylor. The
Administrative Division manages files of all cases handled
by Sheriff’s deputies and investigators, and keeps
statistical records regarding those files, known as UCR records. This
division handles the registration of all sex offenders residing
in DeKalb County. The Administrative Division
enters all warrants and civil process in preparation for
their service by deputies. This division is responsible
for all Sheriff’s sales, extraditions, and the sale
of pistol permits to the public. (Click

the Administrative Division keeps up with continuing education
units for officers, handles the Sheriff’s financial
records, manages payroll records and the Sheriff’s
budget.
