The Sheriff’s Office Administration consists of:
Chief Clerk: Melissa Rice
Deputy Clerk/ Sex Offender Registry Specialist: Nina Haney
Civil Process Clerk: Melissa Wilkerson
Warrants/Investigations Clerk: Andrea Taylor
The Administrative Division manages files of all cases handled by Sheriff’s deputies and investigators, and keeps statistical records regarding those files, known as UCR records. This division handles the registration of all sex offenders residing in DeKalb County as well as the registration of convicted felons were applicable. The Administrative Division enters all warrants and civil process in preparation for their service by deputies. This division is responsible for all Sheriff’s sales, extraditions, and the sale of pistol permits to the public. Finally, the Administrative Division keeps up with continuing education units for officers, handles the Sheriff’s financial records, manages payroll records and the Sheriff’s budget.
