Two Arrested for Drugs
Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:
Sheriff Jimmy Harris reports that on todays date Deputies responded to a 911 call at a residence on County Road 603 in Fort Payne. When deputies arrived at the door of the residence a male subject looked out and then a female subject jumped out a window of the house and ran toward the road. After serval verbal commands the male subject came to the front door. When deputies entered the residence they noticed a sawed off shot gun beside the door. While Deputies checked Jack Randy Wagner, 53 of Fort Payne, for weapons Deputies found 2 knives and Methamphetamine on his person. At which time Drug Task Force officers were called to the scene. Tierra Deshay Jones, 29 of Rainsville was found in possession of Marijuana. Both Wagner and Jones were arrested and transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center where they await bond. Wagner was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest. Jones was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Sheriff Harris states “The Deputies did a great job on handling this situation and being observant of their surroundings.
