Ricky “Dog” Higdon Wins an Award
Sheriff Jimmy Harris reports that on March 7, 2016 Reserve Deputy Ricky “Dog” Higdon was awarded a Metal of Merit from the National Sheriff’s Association for his contribution to our community and to the field of Law enforcement and Criminal Justice. Ricky “Dog” Higdon has been with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office for 9 years as the DeKalb County Detention Centers Chief Maintenance man, a Reserve Deputy, and a member of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit Program.
