The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office have been receiving tips about James Cory McDow, 35 of Collinsville, possibly selling drugs. On November 22nd the DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Unit and Collinsville Police Department was going to McDow’s residence to do a check when they saw McDow on the highway, they then stopped McDow in the driveway of his residence. Once stopped the DeKalb County Sheriff’s K-9 did a search around the vehicle, at which time the Drug and Major Crimes Unit obtained a search warrant to search McDow’s residence. As a result of the search they found Marijuana, Methamphetamine and pills. McDow was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
