Administration

The Sheriff's Office Administration division consists of Chief Clerk Melissa Mason, Deputy Chief /Compliance Clerk Kizzy Jones, Pistol Permit/Civil Clerk, NCIC Clerk Katie Monroe, Warrant Clerk Allison Cowart, Investigations Clerk Andrea Sills, Public Information Officer Kimberly Wright, Jail Financial Clerk Caitlin West, Corrections Clerk Jackie Tanner, Jail Executive Assistant Tammy Mason.

Responsibilities of this office also include: entering all warrants and civil processes in preparation for their service by deputies, Sheriff's sales, extraditions, and the sale of pistol permits to the public; managing the files of all cases handled by Sheriff's deputies and investigators; registering all sex offenders residing in DeKalb County, as well as the registration of convicted felons where applicable.

All financial records, including the budget and payroll, for the Sheriff's Office, Detention Center, and the Reserve Unit are managed by this office.
