Deputies Graduation

Sheriff Jimmy Harris is proud to announce the graduation of Zachary Aldridge, Gregory Brown, Troy Fugatt, and Bobby Ridgeway from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy. The Graduation was held Sunday May 3th at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center. This Academy is a 14 month every other weekend and it takes a lot of time and dedication to complete. The Academy had a total of 57 students among those there was 24 from a Sheriff’s Deputies and 33 from a Police Officers from all over the State. Deputy Gregory Brown was President of the class and he also received the highest honor the Directors award.

Sheriff Harris stated, “I want to congratulate Deputies Aldridge, Brown, Fugatt and Ridgeway. I know they will do an outstanding job for the citizens of our county.”
