Two Arrested for Meth

Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:

            The DeKalb County Drug Task Force have been receiving tips about a Meth lab at a residence on County Road 38 near Powell. On August 11th the Drug Task Force obtained a warrant to search the property. When DeKalb and Jackson Counties Drug Task Force and Deputies arrived at the residence to execute the search warrant they found Eddie Wooten, 37 of Section and Donna Jo Lewis, 36 of Dutton inside the residence in possession of Methamphetamine. During the search they recovered stole items from theft cases in Jackson County and found remanence of a meth lab adjacent to the residence. Both Wooten and Lewis was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. This investigation is still ongoing.
