Mother and Son Arrested for Meth
Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:
On October 18th Powell and Sylvania Police Department went to a resident on County Road 572 to serve felony warrants on Justin Tyler Jackson, 25 of Rainsville, for Escape 3rd and Failure to Appear. When they arrived at the resident they saw drugs in plain sight. The DeKalb County Investigators were called to the scene. As a result Justin Jackson and his mother Gloria Patterson, 40 of Rainsville were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sheriff Harris says “Thanks to the Powell and Sylvania Police Departments for continuing to work with us and made these arrest possible.”
