Two Arrested for Drugs

Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:

            On today’s date Deputies stop a vehicle on Barry Street in Powell. With consent to search the vehicle Deputies found Marijuana and when asked the passenger Stacie Higgins Garrett, 42 of Fyffe was found with Meth on her person. Stephen Dale Guffey, 46 of Fyffe was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Guffey was also arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Both were transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
