A man was hospitalized after being shot in Crossville today at approximately 11:30 am. The shooting occurred near the 1100 block of Union Grove Road.

The victim is in stable condition. An investigation into the incident is currently underway and no charges have yet been filed.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident: “Our investigators are working diligently to determine the nature of this incident, and if charges should be filed.”
