Man Arrested on Several Charges
Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:
Sheriff Jimmy Harris reports the arrest of Robert Carl Bannon, 68 of Dawson on numerous charges after an investigation into sexual contact with a minor. Bannon is charged with Possession of Obscene Matter, Obstruction of Government Operations, Contributing, and Receiving stolen Property 3rd. Bannon had a stolen pistol in his possession at the time of his arrest. This case involves a 15 year old female and further charges may be coming. Harris states “this is a sad case to see due to the circumstances of this family. I hope to see them get some help for the young girl in this case. I’m glad to see our investigators and the Crossville Police Department get this case concluded.”
